08.10.2021: Team World wins the Laver Cup 2021!!

What a comeback! Mystery and TennisStar showed no mercy towards King of Cans and Djokorer in the decisive double.
They win 6-3, 6-4 and save three points to Team World - giving Team World the final lead 13-11 to win the Laver Cup!

Congratulations!

07.10.2021: Europe takes the lead again!

It could not be more tense as things continue to come to a head.
Unfortunately Monstroso was not able to continue the match vs Alexko and had to retire.

That brings three points for Team Europe - which now takes the lead again.
All is focused now on the decisive double between Monstroso and Willito for Team World and King of Cans and Djokorer for Team Europe.

 And what happens if Monstroso can't recover in time to be ready for the doubles match?

05.10.2021: Day 3 suspended - Goatbarboza takes new role as captain for Team World

As you probably noticed, there were no matches played the last two days.

Due to other commitments Kory resigned his role as captain for Team World. We want to thank you a lot for your work to make the Laver Cup happen and all the best for the challenges that lie ahead of you!
Goatbarboza will take over the role of the captain! Good luck!

Some things have to be cleared up now before we can continue with the remaining matches of Day 3.

03.10.2021: Team World takes the lead

In the second match of Day 3 Team World takes the lead in the Laver Cup 2021 for the first time. Willito removed all doubts about this quickly when he ran over King of Cans in less than 30 minutes (Score: 6-1, 6-2). This suddenly puts Team World in a extraordinarily good starting position for the remaining match(es), since they are now only one win away from taking the title.

It is match point Team World.

Can Team Europe fight back?

30.09.2021: Day 3 has started! Team World (almost) levels up!

Day 3 of the Laver Cup has started today and it started with a big BOOM for Team World. Vtrix kept his head cool when he defeated vinD in a tight match in two Tie Breaks 7-6(2) 7-6(5). Score is almost tied now with Europe still holding a slight lead 8:7.

So what happens next? Alexko will face Monstroso on Oct 1st 4pm CET. As usually the match will be live on the World TE Tour >> Discord Channel.

29.09.2021: Last match of day 2 today!

After thrilling first days the players have been granted some rest. Today however day 2 will be closed with a big one! Leon is under pressure since Team World is still down 4-6. Can he beat King of Cans and equal the score to pile on all the pressure to Team Europe? We will see!

26.09.2021: Life saving win in the doubles brings Team World back to the game

Mystery and TennisStar really kept their heads cool when they took the doubles win vs King of Cans and Hakisko . The importance of that match is shown by the new score, where Team World was able to reduce the gap to only 2 points!

25.09.2021: Andre Kerber closes perfect Day 1 for Team Europe

Day 1 Matches are now completed. Andre Kerber takes down TennisStar in two sets to close a perfect Day 1 for Team Europe.

24.09.2021: Alexko takes first Master Tie Break

Huge win for TeamEurope as Alexko comes back from being 0-1 Sets down against Vtrix . Both pretty much levelled their game during the match but it was Alexko who was able to be a little bit more dominant in the Master Tie break.
Team Europe fights back and takes points 4 and 5 (World: 2 Points).

24.09.2021: Matches scheduled

The one remaining Day 1 Match between Andre Kerber and TennisStar is scheduled for Sept. 24th in the evening.
The second day 2 match between Alexko and Vtrix is scheduled for Sept. 24th around 2.30pm CET.

24.09.2021: Willito breaks the spell, captures first points for TeamWorld!

Team Europe had a decent run with winning the first three points on Day 1. Willito stopped that in a remarkable win vs Hakisko , winning 6-0- 6-2. Since this is a day two match he saves 2 points for Team World. New score: Team Europe leads by 3-2.

23.09.2021: Goerges captures Point 3 for TeamEurope!

Emotions boiled over when Andre Goerges def. Goatbarboza after RL. Both tried their best but the connection just did not let them continue after the first set was taken by Andre Goerges.
With this TeamEurope successfully extends the lead to 3-0 after two singles and one doubles..

22.09.2022: Europe wins Day 1 Doubles and extends the lead!

Day 1 doubles goes to Team Europe. Goerges / Kerber successfully mastered the doubles challenge by a two set win (7-5, 6-2) over Vtrix / Barboza. Team Europe extends the lead to 2-0.

22.09.2022: First doubles match is about to start soon!

The first doubles match of 2021 Laver cup between Goerges / Kerber and Vtrix / Barboza is scheduled for Sep. 22nd, 1.30pm CET.
